Please note that our office will remain open (24 hrs. a day, everyday) to those wishing to apply for a Weapons Permit. Please use the intercom in the lobby, and someone will assist you as soon as possible.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality, full-service law enforcement to all citizens and visitors of Poweshiek County. We will achieve this goal by emphasizing training for our sworn and civilian staff. We value communication and input from the community we serve.
