Deputies

Sheriff Maschmann stated his career at Poweshiek County in September 2004 as Deputy Sheriff.  Sheriff Maschmann was elected sheriff November 2024 to begin office January 2, 2025.

Deputy Kivi has been employed with Poweshiek County since 2004.  Deputy Kivi became Chief Deputy January 2, 2025.

Carpenter has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since June 2024. 

Deputy Anderson has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since July 2024.

Deputy Simpson has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since April of 2009.

Deputy Cheney has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since August of 2009.

Deputy Menninga has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since April of 2013.

Deputy Meyer has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since August of 2013.

Deputy See has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since September 2015.

Matt has been employed full-time with Poweshiek County Sheriff's Office since June of 2019.  Matt became Deputy Sheriff in December 2024.

Deputy Criswell has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since November 2021.

Deputy Foster has been employed by the Sheriff's Office since May 2022.
