WHEP is a program hosted by Iowa State Extension and coached by Poweshiek County Conservation designed to introduce students in grades 4-12 to Iowa's various habitats, the animals who live there, and strategies for maintaining or improving wildlife habitats.

The WHEP team meets once a week on Zoom from November to May. If you have a youth who would be interested in signing up contact Naturalist Amy for more information at aandrews@poweshiekcounty.org
